Course Objectives The objective of the course is to teach laws , regulations and the process in the emergency services. Moreover the course aims to help students in learning the basic protection principles during disasters, principles of emergency care, CBRN and fire-prevention.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to evaluate principles of the emergency care and drive emergency vehicles such as ambulance
  • Will be able to learn the principles of emergency system in Turkey,
  • Will be able to know the responsibilities of being a paramedic and know the details of sustaining patient care,
  • Will be able to supply the communication in ambulances and during emergency services,
  • Will be able to know the protection principles during disaster,
  • Will be able to make required medical treatment during disasters, fires and CBRN
  • Will be able to supply the security of the patient
Course Description The course content covers subjects such as evaluating emergency health services, related laws and regulations, Turkish Emergency Health Services, Health Services and the principles and responsibilities of being a paramedic. Students will learn to arrange duties and responsibilities of a paramedic, sustain both the security of patients and his/her own security.Moreover the course aims to help students in learning the basic protection principles during disasters, principles of emergency care, CBRN and fire-prevention.
